The Girls

For this unit we have been given the option to collaborate with "The Girls" an art duo with a passion and talent for unusual and pretty twisted/ weird I dunno what ever you like to call it self portraiture. (See the link to their website in the links section on the right!)

In April they are holding an event called "The Paper Eaters" in which they have from the 1st to the 30th to create 80's inspired annuals, the wh

ole project will be taking place in Selfridges which is such an exciting prospect. I am going down to help for a week during easter. Taking photos and interviewing guests etc to put into my blog and possibly use for my "App" that I am creating for this unit in one of the subject headings.

The Girls are a breath of fresh air and it is really nice to see artists with a completely different, unusual almost quite twisted taste for the controversial side to life, it's something that really grabs me and I really love too. Especially the elements of something that looks nice but it really isn't... if that makes any sense at all?!
